It took me 5 today. I don't like it when there are MANY choices of rhyming words and you have to pick the right one, after you have four of the letters in the right place.

I am quite new to WORDLE, about 3 months.

I wish the inventor, in addition to having GREEN (in the right place) and YELLOW (in the word, but in the wrong place......
had a Tile that was diagonal Green upper, and diagonal Yellow lower. This would signify that you had the letter in the right place, but the letter id also in at least one other spot.

So, if you guessed PINCH, and the H was GREEN, but the C was 'diagonal Green/Yellow'.....your next guess would be CONCH.

Has this been discussed here before?

Phew. I was one letter off from getting another three. Unfortunately there were five different letters that last letter could be and only four lines left. Down to my last choice, line 6, with two possibilities left . Fortunately I chose correctly to just get under the wire.

Aah, ok. Fair enough. But Wordle has proven itslef unwilling to play fair, so you'd still need some luck.
