I’m the first one to crash and burn? I’m almost embarrassed. But, dang, that was a hard one!

Turns out, my starter word was an apt description of me this morning. Honestly, I never thought of VERVE. When I got to five, I was sure it was either VERSE or VERGE. I couldn’t believe it when that fourth tile didn‘t turn green.

A four but since I didn’t get any letters with my starter, it’s really a three.

Sandi and I had very similar starters. After getting nothing there, I was looking for something a little unusual and HYDRO came to me. After that, there were three possibilities, DOWRY, ROWDY, WORDY. I guess I should have defaulted to WORDY since this is Wordle, but I used DOWRY which also eliminated ROWDY and left nothing but a long WORDY post.

I'm good with a 4. Like @Rolltydr , I had zip on my starter. Leave it to WORDLE to have this one in its answer list.

My first thought after WORRY, was WORDY.
But going thru remaining letters, WORMY was also possible. Nah, WORDY is the apropos answer to WORDLE.
