Anyone know if Casa Dorada Spa and Golf Resort is disappearing?

This resort is/was located in the Hilton Los Cabos hotel along the corridor. Hilton is now opening its own units in this resort called Hilton Las Pacifica. Now, other than the existence of this resort in Interval, there seems to be no other reference to it. Even the Interval web page has a link that refers to Hilton Los Cabos hotel..... Anyone own at this resort??

Just to be clear, I am only referring to the Casa Dorada Spa and Golf Resort. There are 3 other Casa Dorada's that still exist (sort of):
Casa Dorada at Medano Beach - On Medano Beach in Cabo
Casa Dorada San Lucas Bay - This is really the hotel ME on Medano Beach
Casa Dorada Cabo Real - This is located inside of the Dreams resort. Located along the corridor.

I guess I can assume there were no real owners of this resort anymore, and that is why it is disappearing..

There are so many resorts in Southern Baja that it is hard to tell what is happening. The Mexican Government offered big tax breaks after Odie to developers. Hilton and many other developers have been expanding in the Cabo region because of the close proximity to California and Mexican tax breaks.

I am one of the orginal timeshare owners--we purchased on 2/02/2002.
I have a two unit lock-off unit. We have been going once a year since--excluding the two years of rehab -after the Hurricane that torn it apart.
The last 3 times--I could not reserve--no matter how early I tried--the lock off setup. Had to take two separate rooms--and no longer could I reserve the top floor--- This year--I have ---on paper--the Lock off unit on a lower floor.
HGV has purchase the property--or some type of arrangement and has improve the hotel quite nicely.
I attended a La Pacific presentation and they wanted $80,000 for what we have and no trade in offers.
so-- we will ride the wave for another few years--with what we have.

They offered a room at Dreams when I asked about our contract they said you need to talk with someone else but they are busy. This is very frustrating as I just paid the maintenance fee for a unit that no longer exists.

If you paid via credit card, you might contest the charge. Even if you paid via debit card, you bank might be able to assist.

Same happened to us. GBS said they no longer have access to the Hilton. All 23 original timeshares were transferred to Dreams. Of course we weren't notified and didn't find out until after we paid our dues. And the Dreams doesn't have any rooms with our accommodations until June. GBS told us we could go to Dreams or the would but us out. Our contract is only good until 2031.

To update this thread. We, too, were told that we could no longer book at the Hilton. We truly believe that Casa Dorada sold those rooms to Hilton as they were becoming more and more valuable. However, right now (March 2026) there is a Casa Dorada unit at the Hilton property for rent on Redweek. It’s a 1 bedroom for $1000 per night. Someone obviously was able to book their unit at Hilton!
