I am anxious to see how New Orleans fares with this hurricane. We have a trade into the Quarter House for 9/26. Anyone else have an upcoming trip planned to NO?

My daughter is a student down there -- I just returned from helping her move into her new apartment on Wednesday and will be returning (fingers crossed) for her 21st birthday/Parents' Weekend Oct 3rd.

The city looked better than ever last week .... will continue to watch and hope that the events of 3 years ago are not repeated.

We have reservations at Worldmark New Orleans for Jazz Fest in the spring. The resort is in the Garden District, where they did suffer some damage during Katrina. We can cancel without penalty, but hope that won't be necessary.
