Anyone else like snow?

someone who hated snow: People in this car I watched while driving to Vail for a 3-day wkend, We had thinnest flurries in Denver. Just before the Eisenhower tunnel, was snowing much harder, so any local knew it would be a blizzard on the other side. So, everyone slowed way down in the tunnel, and it seems most people pulled into the right lane. So, this one car, that did not have CO plates, roared by us in the left lane, just before the end of the tunnel.

As we were leaving the tunnel, I saw the car go flying off the left side of the left lane, airborne into the median. It disappeared into the who-knows-how-many-feet-deep snow in the median, sending up a big cloud of snow as it did.

Nice picture. For most of my life I loved snow. The activity I miss the most is snowmobiling. When I look at your picture I see lines that I would choose to track it up in the steep and deep. My last ride was very steep and deep . As I was pulling on the ski of my buddy's sled for 45 minutes I had an unnoticeable heart attack. Now I use a Jeep and go snow wheeling in the lower hills. I really miss riding the snowy mountain tops.

We had 16 in of snow yesterday and today. This is the most snow we have seen here in several years. It was really nice last night and early today, but then I had to spend hours clearing my driveway and the everything is closed today. The worst part is that it isn't supposed to be over 32 for the next two week so it will be around for a while. The thing I hate most is that all the parking lots in the area will be a mess until it melts. Parking is bad enough without many spaces being unusable due to snow piles. I am looking forward to my Hilton Head trip in two weeks.

After a long Christmas break, kids were supposed to go back to school yesterday. It was cancelled and again today, now because of ice. Lots of children had fun playing outside, since we haven’t had much snow for several years. A bored retired neighbor plowed me out. So I still am enjoying it, and was very productive yesterday doing unpleasant but necessary household tasks.

I have never liked snow, even as a small child my dad would bundle me up to take me sledding and I would cry the whole time. I don't like cold weather, never have, never will. I love the sun, the water and swimming.

Well, it’s not snowing here, but it sure feels like it could! But, it can’t snow when it’s 49, can it? It sure didn’t take long for me to acclimate to Florida weather! And I’ll be glad when it comes back in a few days.

The main reason why we escape St. Augustine Beach for January & February and head to Belize. We are having a 'cold front' pass through here as well, it only got up to 78F here today and might go down to 68F tonight! {{ducking}}

It was 2 degrees with snow when we travelled to NJ for Christmas. I can say that I don’t miss it at all. We helped daughter shovel the steep driveway (Husband had to go to work….and his tires packed down the snow……I always hated when that happened).

A great tool…the traffic cameras for various states…there Was black ice on 95 in southern Virginia, snow on 81 on Monday. No traffic though.

so NO, don’t like the snow.

Enjoying the weather right now.

Then again, I'm waiting for sunrise in Waikoloa. . .
Our escape is in Mexico this winter. We were doing Hawaii and Mexico for winter but it's such a hassel to move.

We are leaving in about a month for 3 weeks in Philip Island and Melbourne, Australia.

As a resident of sunny Florida, I ask my cousins
in upper NY state... "What is snow?" <ducking>
