Any recent information about deed back to HGVC? I'm looking for contact information for inside HGVC, not for outside timeshare resale brokers.

We own a deeded one-week timeshare at West 57th by Hilton in NYC. It is paid off and dues are current through the end of 2023. Due to my husband's age and poor health we can't use it any longer. I asked about deed back the last time we used it and was told that someone named "Seth" (no last name) would contact us from HGVC to get the process started, but we haven't been contacted. I'm willing to walk away if that's what it takes, and take any credit score hit. But I'd rather not do it that way.
I don't know where to start: with the HOA or some other department in HGVC?

The only Seth I know of is Seth Knock of www.sellingtimeshares.net. He is a timeshare resale broker but I don't know if he is officially affiliated with HGVC. That said, you have other options than a deedback. There is no reason you can't sell this on the resale market. Perhaps even reach out to Seth directly (contact info on his website). You could also try to sell this on your own by listing it on Redweek or the TUG Marketplace.

Sorry to hear about your husband's health. With the Diamond acquisition, I doubt HGVC is deeding back any deeds.

There are multiple brokers who can assist with your sale.

Judi Koslowski www.judikoz.com
Diane Nadeau google her

What deed do you own? We can help you with understanding what it is worth.

There's information on the Club member website under HELP / CONTACT US - https://club.hiltongrandvacations.com/en/help/faq-resale-services
Here's the link to their Resale FAQ Documentation (link)

If they are not interested in buying back, they will direct you to one of their 3rd party brokers such as Judi mentioned in this thread.
It's been previously reported that HGVC gets some of the commission for the referral and the rest goes to the resale broker.

Seth Nock's website (www.sellingtimeshares.net) advertises as Hilton timeshare resale specialists.

@funnywoman Thank you for sharing the contact email. Please report back if they take back your deed without any handoff to a resale broker to sell like Seth or Judi and if there were any fees involved. I know they favor the NYC bHC properties more than others so would be interested if you share this with others who may be in a similar situation.

CalGalTraveler: HGVC took the t/s back without using a resale broker. There weren't any fees, other than the notary fee ($30 in CA) that we had to pay when we signed the deed back to HGVC. I also paid UPS for tracking, so I knew when the deed got to HGVC.

I sent an e-mail to the portfolio services e-mail above a little over a week ago for the seven contracts (the six I posted in free section plus one more). They just got back with agreements for me to sign to start the deed back process for all of them. I did mention I just bought enough retail for premier+ and will be pursuing Centum in future (unlikely unless I get great deal) and said this would help me with the process. Don't know if that swayed them favorably or they would of said yes regardless. Faster and cheaper process than trying to give them away.

That is great news for you. How much are they charging?

I hope that their deed back had nothing to do with you purchasing retail. If it was not related to you purchasing retail that would be great news for others similarly looking for an exit. I looked at your free giveaway ads and they were not prime deeds (annual points 2560 to 5440), just the type of deed someone would want a deed back option to help them exit.
