any problems only using last 5 days of a ressie

I am planning on only using the last 5 days of a 7 day reservation. Have anyone ever had any problems calling the resort up and telling them you will be there for only a partial stay. In the case only the last 5 days of a reservation.

I've done this several times and never had a problem. You do need to let the timeshare know in case they don't have the front desk manned all the time. They can always make arrangements for you to get the key.

Another question how much advanced notice did you give them? Same day that the reservation begins?

It really doesn't matter. I personally would call with plenty of advance and have it added to the notes, then I would call again on check-in day just to make sure.

What you need to guard against is the resort cancelling the entire ressie if you don't show up the fist day.

Every resort is different so you need to make it clear to them that you will be a couple days late.
