Thinking of Playa for next winter. Trying to decide between two complexes- one at Las Palmas at 1st and tenth or one at Paraiso Blanco further back at first and fifteenth. Wonder about the neighborhoods. I know that with one wrong turn you can be in a questionable area. Thanks for any thoughts.

We could have had a trade with a Mayan Palace Riviera Maya but decided against it as we wanted to stay right in Playa and just be able to walk everywhere. Tons of terrific condo rentals right on and off the main drag of 5th Avenue. Got a lovely large one bedroom/full kitch, rooftop terrace and pool at Las Palmas for $850 for Feb 21-28 09. So used to timesharing that I forget there are other places to look. Excited about Playa and the site you gave me buceo is great- I signed up! Thanks
