Any Hummel collectors out there?

A few weeks ago I heard that Goebel had sold out the company.
Now on their website they indicate that Goebel will no longer manufacture Hummel figurines.
 
This is news to me!!:eek: Of course, I stopped collecting a few years ago -filled a cabinet first-but I am a member of the Hummel Collector's Club. Guess I missed that announcement, eh?:zzz:
 
I have about 20 of these that my MIL gave my husband when she downsized that she had for years. I am not a collector however. I do not know what they are worth.
 
I have about 10 and my Mom has some. Can't remember the last time either one of us bought one. Some were my grandmother's so I know they are old.
 
We have one that my mother gave us years ago.......does that make me a collector???:D ;)
 
I've got 6 or 7 that we inherited from my MIL. I guess that makes me a collector too, lol.
I have wanted to convert them into something I can use (like $$ towards a vacation) for a long time. If anyone knows a good way to sell them, I'd love to know.
