I think that we were scammed into buying at the PBSR like many others on there. Junior Suite 1 week / year with 2 optional weeks ( we liked the can stay at a hotel for $249 / week) line - this is what hooked us in. $1500 anniversary credit and $3000 1 time activation bonus. The story is the same. We do travel quite a bit, the perks and program made sense, with no maintenance fees, only pay if you use.
So my questions are:

- if you are flexible with your weeks, have you been able to book within the year ?
- anyone can comment on what the $1500 / year for the first 5 years can be used on? We were told SPA, All inclusive, resort credit etc? Is this true?
- any success on booking cruises with the $3000 1 time activation bonus?
- has anyone been able to stay at the fancy 5* hotels for only $249 / week?

We bought on Jan 9th, so the 5 days is up. We paid only deposit and were going to pay the rest out in 60 days to make it cheaper. Any suggestions on what to do next if this is a scam would be appreciated.

Thank you!

I'm sorry you weren't able to rescind your purchase within five days since you have questions about what you bought.

If it was the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach in Cabo presentation and you bought the last offer for vacations, then you bought inventory that is 60 - 90 days out, is what I remember. This same inventory often shows up in RCI as extra vacations. Often times in peak seasons like winter there isn't any inventory available. If you are good with going in late spring , summer and early fall then there usually would be inventory at PBSB.

I doubt its a good deal and really don't believe that it will be easy to use.
