I have a wedding that I would like to try to attend Feb 7th 2009 at the Marriott in San Juan. We do not need to stay at the Marriott just close by. I am trying to make it work and was wondering if anyone had any insight on good deals including airfare. We can leave on Thurs or Friday of that week and can return on Sun or Mon. I am having trouble finding flights that are less than $500 apiece from Philadelphia. I have never been to San Juan and would love all of your advice!
Thanks in advance!

We were in San Juan in February 2007. We stayed at the Caribe Hilton. During the course of our vist we went to the casino at the Marriott. If the wedding is at the Marriott, you should try to stay there. The pool, beach, food, and casino are top class. The Caribe Hilton is also a wonderful place, but it does not have a casino. However, the Caribe Hilton is closer to Old Town San Juan and I think its a fantastic place to have a vacation or a wedding. If I were not going to a wedding at the Marriott, I would stay at the Caribe Hilton again since I am not much of a gambling man.
