We are at the very beginning of trying to donate a timeshare in Cancun. One site I found which doesn't smell like a scam is "donatetimeshareonline.com. Anyone have any experience with these folks? If their info is to be believed, they resell the donations and give the proceeds to an East Palo Alto charity.

They are going to charge you a large fee (thousands) to "take your timeshare off your hands."

In looking at their FAQs, they say that they use brokers like TimeshareAngels. So, that leads me to ask, why not go through TimeshareAngels and cut out the middleman?
