I was wondering if anyone has received an AC offer for Grande Vista this year. I have an easter week that I am willing to deposit. As of yet, I have not seen an offer.

Thanks

I've owned 2 weeks at Grande Vista (a 2BR and a 3BR) since 2003 and I've never been offered an AC for any of my weeks. I usually book Easter and Feb. vacation weeks.

It may make you feel better to know that an II rep told me that XYZ exchanges were more powerful than ACs and they cost less too!

I've been offered an AC for a 2012 MGV 2br. The deposit must be made by 1/15/2012. Check in date for the deposit must be between 5/24 to 8/15, 2012. Frankly, I don't see much advantage in this transaction because I can get two weeks by locking off. Additionally, the cost and limitations of an AC further diminish this AC offer. I often think that II uses AC's as a way of generating more income for themselves rather than offering a real benefit to their members.

In the past (no guarantee in the future) II has honored an AC for the 1br deposit so you'd have 1BR + AC + Studio (+ 2 XYZ's)

Additionally, the cost and limitations of an AC further diminish this AC offer. I often think that II uses AC's as a way of generating more income for themselves rather than offering a real benefit to their members.
Agreed, which is why I'm surprised II has cut back offering AC's (none for HHI resorts so far)

I have received two offers for AC's for my summer 2012 Harbour Point week this year.
