It's always a pleasure to meet a Tugger and meeting Gary was awesome. PcflEZFIng arrived from a stay on Oahu in Waikiki. He had some time to burn before checking in so I met him at the busy Molokai airport and took him around a bit.

We ended out taking a ride out to my place and I showed him around WaveCrest. We snapped a couple selfies off the lanai. Mine were too dark but Gary knows how to work his phone so his pictures turned out nice. :D

I went to watch the Molokai Farmers play the Lanai Pinelads this morning so Kim stayed home and met Gary when we came out to WaveCrest. The Farmers won 16 to 7 by the way. Then Gary and I went to Paddlers for a later lunch and he went and got some groceries so he should be set for a while.

He's got the lay of the land now so now he can relax and take his time to see the rest of the island. You have to pace yourself on Molokai.

Tuggers are real. Here is Gary, Kim and I on our lanai.🤙🏻

Love this! I am planning a 3 day trip to Molokai for next year - is there a website where I can see if any Wavecrest owners have rental listings available?

@slip , its on my bucket list to meet you and the amazing Kim on day... Do you have a list of Wavecrest owners that rent out their units?

Most owners go through VRBO and AirBnB so you can check there. I also know some owners who rent their units and they use an island representative that lives here. I will check with her and post the information I get in this thread. I will tag you both.

We are having our Board of Directors elections tomorrow I may see her there.

This would be Great. We would love to meet with you both.

Yes. Yes she was. My DW and I got to visit her in Las Vegas while Jerry was still alive. Great couple.

I haven't heard those names for a long time. Facebook would remind me of Fern's birthday for a few more years after she passed away.

Many years back, TUGgers would arrange periodic meetups at various locales. I attended a couple for the Seattle area that were organized by Karen Gunderson. There might be 10 to 20 people at those events. It stopped after the Gunderson's relocated to Nevada.

I also attended a lunchtime meetup one time in the Puerto Vallarta Marina. There must have been nearly 20 people at that event.
