I will be ordering food for delivery and it I’ll cost about $200.
Will the ask for a tip on the order and a tip on delivery
what kind of tip is expected, do you give 20% to staff and to delivery person?

Per Grubhub: If everything goes smoothly with your delivery and the weather is good, 20% is the standard cost of having the mealtime brought to your doorstep. Never tip less than five bucks, though.

The app will give you the option to tip when placing the order. Don't tip $0 on the app with the plan to tip cash. It is likely that no one will pick up the order.

I think Panera has delivery, am I wrong.

Panera in our area is delivered by Doordash (DD). Be careful, there are rumors that because Panera enters the order into a third party DD app, they control what tip goes to the driver (ordering system says tip goes to staff/driver). Drivers report that Panera takes tips from them. Best bet is to give a modest tip and then confirm with driver how much they got and give additional upon delivery. How far is order going? Is it a huge catering type order?

It is lunch for twenty Going about 5 miles.

I do not use those apps but surely the restaurant workers preparing the meal and taking the order get a tip or are they shafted and only driver gets a tip?

It sounded like it was to be shared ith the staff. But it was cash
