The sad reality is people with idiotic notions like these make the job of those who are truly concerned with animals best interests even harder.

Since the year 2000, if you live in Boulder, Colorado, you cannot own a pet according to the city's ordinances. You can only be a "pet guardian".

There's a reason we call that city "The People's Republic of Boulder". :wall:
