That is a very nice article. I agree that we have lost our manners, and I think it is so obvious when I go just about anywhere. I cannot believe the young people that pile into a bus and expect an older woman to stand. I gave up my seat to an older woman at Disneyworld on the monorail, when no one else would, and as I looked around the car we were in, there were many people under 30 that should have jumped up and offered her a seat.
Thank you, that was an excellent article. I agree, that everyone is so busy with their lives, or listening to their ipod, or whatever that they forget their manners. I've found as I've gotten older that it's people's politeness and consideration of others that matter to me.
I agree -- people are so rude these days will all the electronic gad -- hold on a sec, I just got a text message . . . What a dork! . . . Ha! Ha! . . .
Yea, like I was saying, people really have lost that sense of -- oh wait -- this is my FAVORITE song on my iPod! . . .
Anyway, that about sums up my thought on the subject. What was the subject again?
