American Idol -- anyone watch Season Finale?

I was thrilled with the winner.
But heart-breaking that she received the news while totally alone.
Not a soul to share the moment with her.
 
That must be a bittersweet moment for her. I'm sure she called some people afterwards. :)

I don't watch American Idol anymore. I've been watching The Voice. They're in their finale right now. Some amazing talent this season.

It appeared the guy thought he won. He and his supporters were cheering and hugging. Camera finally cut away from them. But the finale was a dud for Just Sam.
 
DH & I watched this season. We were both happy that Just Sam won and agree that it was heart-wrenching that there was nobody with her to share in her joy. I did like Arthur Gunn but preferred Johnny West over him.

Hope that next season is not impacted by Covid!
 
Happy Sam won but it was sad she was alone. She stayed away from her Grandma due to not wanting to take a chance with the virus.
