Haven't read any of those books. I am working on a few right now, all non-fiction, Eric Metaxas and Paul Tripp have some great books out currently, three that I am reading by Eric, one by Paul.

Rick and I are listening to all of the CJ Box Joe Pickett books. They are so good.

Ironically, with my Eric Metaxas book on Kindle in my carryon, I saw Eric at the airport on 10/29 on our way to Orlando. He was in the Denver airport after security and was taking inventory and pulling his sport jacket back on.

After security you must make sure you have everything with you. He walked by me. I was sitting on a bench waiting for Rick to get out of the security line. Rick had me go ahead of him and pushed our stuff through because my titanium hip tends to delay me in security, but I breezed right through.

Anyway, I was dumbfounded and unable to speak. I just smiled at him, I am sure he knew that I recognized him, and he said, "Hello," and I just said the same, "Hello." I couldn't speak. I am such a dork.

Honestly, not sure I would recognize any of my favorite authors if i saw them in person..

Only author I've seen in person that I immediately recognized (and he's not my favorite being I haven't read any of his books) is George R R Martin.

I was once in the Sacramento Airport and one of my favorite authors was pulling his paperbacks off the rack and signing them. He signed mine and drew a little picture representing the book. It was awesome!

Eric Metaxas has a radio program, and I know him from in-person interviews.

Paul Tripp I follow on Facebook because I love his insight.

If I saw Richard Paul Evans somewhere, I would know him, but I wouldn't know many of my favorite authors in an airport.

I recently finished a book "When God Doesn't Fix It" by Laura Story. It is an excellent book for anyone who is dealing with chronic disease or illness, and their caretakers. Every 4 or 5 pages I would be grabbing a Kleenex and think "Yes! Someone else get's it and understands." I would highly recommend the book if you are suffering from a debilitating disease, injury, or chronic illness.

I’m going to purchase some of these books as Christmas gifts for family members and friends.

The only thing I can remember about Pottstown, PA, was that it was famous for Mrs. Pies company. They made a great assortment of pies.
