Amazon Observation tonight

Today I purchased some items on Amazon and noticed there is a category of "Minority Owned Businesses" that have items for sale. What is the point of that? When I am shopping on Amazon or anywhere I want the lowest price, best quality and on Amazon shipping from somewhere that does not charge me sales taxes but that is not so easy. Wish my freight forwarder was located in Delaware. But does anyone care the ethnicity of an online seller? I admit I do prefer Mexican food by Mexicans and Sushi by Japanese, etc. Food may be no better but then prepared by anyone else but at least I am giving it hope that it is.

To me it makes Amazon look bad. I want to support everyone equally.

I am not going anywhere with it other then calling it like I see it.
 
You have a history of claiming that minorities receive preferential treatment - that is definitely not a topic for TUG.
