4 Hrs.after I ordered one for $49.99 I found this thread!
I tried to cancel it on line but it was already in process & they
weren't able to cancel.
So now I have to hang around tomorrow to catch the delivery
truck to refuse the package.

Thanks for the info, at least I got it before DW had opened & used it.

JM

Why would you want to cancel it unless you can get a better price?

Amazon has a price guarantee for 30 days. You should be able to keep it and then get a refund of the difference when it goes on sale.

Since they are advertising it now for Thanksgiving, perhaps you can call them today and work something out.

I have a shark keyboard and love it.
I love my Amazon HDX. It's able to download, DOWNLOAD and store certain Amazon prime content for off-line viewing. So, on the long, long flight to Hawaii (with no inflight entertainment) I can watch many many hours of Outlander, Game of Thrones, movies etc.... FREE. Not so sure about the smaller tablets, but my HDX rocks. Amazon manages it's own content (even for non-fire products), that's where the prime apps are.
Side loading is easy. But, just like jail-breaking, you do risk ad-ware and more. Easy Installer is good and 1Mobile is also decent (disable notifications).

I just called C.S. they cancelled my order & said
to refuse shipment or just return it.
They said they could not adjust the price because
the sale is in the future.
They said I won't be billed for return shipping.

I will reorder it on the 26th.

Thanks,
JM

You can download lots of content to various devices. I have Amazon prime and I have downloaded subscription content to watch on my laptop or iphone for later. I have also rented movies and downloaded to watch later. It's a great feature for traveling. But you don't need an Amazon device to do it.

Amazon Announces Its Black Friday Deals, Which Go Live This Week - by Rob Triggs/ Android Authority/ androidauthority.com

"Amazon has already kicked off its Black Friday deals early this year and has just announced a selection of upcoming offers that will run from November 20th. Discounts can be found on everything from electronics and video games, to fashion and kitchen appliances.

New Black Friday deals will be arrive “as often as every five minutes” and there are a number of Gold Box Deals of the Day to keep an eye on as well. For example, today you can already grab a Fitbit One for $74.99. Amazon Prime members will be given a 30 minute head start on most of the limited Lightening deals. There will also be a number of other exclusive sales that are only available through the Amazon Mobile Shipping App. These will be released daily from 3 PM PT to 11 PM PT, starting Thanksgiving and running through to December 9th.

When it comes to electronics, our favourite Amazon category, there’s a big selection of deals to be had. Amazon is offering discounts on its selection of Kindle readers and tablets, its Fire TV box and Fire TV Stick. A number of Samsung Galaxy Tablets will also have a 20 percent saving applied in the week, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

There also are discounts on a huge range of TV and speaker products. A 15” ASUS laptop can be bought for just $129, while there’s 50 percent to be saved on the Sennheiser HD 598 over-ear headphones. If you need more space in your smartphone or tablet, there’s up to 70 percent off select SanDisk memory cards and USB flash drives too.

That should be everything you need to keep an eye on the best Amazon deals later this week. To see the full range of discounts revealed so far, click the press release button below.
