Am I a gig worker?

We built a log cabin about 10 years ago and have rented it episodically since that time along with an occasional timeshare rental. I make more than my social security on it and it pays the mortgage, maintenance and insurance. April and May are my busiest months but my rentals have gone from 8 rentals to one weekend before the stay at home order .I am certain the rest of the summer will suffer also. I feel unemployed but am I a gig worker eligible for unemployment compensation and the additional $600.00 per week included in the recent 2.1 trillion bill?
I have done research but haven't found anything on this subject. So I am asking a forum that has helped me with other questions over the years.
Yours,
Jim

Are You Eligible for Unemployment Benefits in Virginia? ... NO

Gig workers
are independent contractors, online platform workers, contract firm workers, on-call workers and temporary workers.

Sorry Jim

You must be unemployed through no fault of your own, as defined by Virginia law. You must have earned at least a minimum amount in wages before you were unemployed. You must be able and available to work, and you must be actively seeking employment.

Stay Safe and Enjoy your vacation home..
