Has anyone stayed at a aloft hotel or heard any comments? They are offering quadruple points with every dollor spent.

I have stayed at the one in Lexington MA twice, both single King-size rooms.

The rooms are pretty small, maybe 300 sq ft, the layout is really optimized well though. Overall, its a pretty basic road-motel type room amenity-wise, but style is the big push. They have large wall-mounted flat panel TVs, but the only real viewing is from the bed. Its good for an overnight.

The lobby is like a large living/game room. Pool table, big open seating area adjacent to the bar, lots of space in effectively one big room, which makes up for the actual rooms. I guess the point is to collect in the lobby area and socialize.

Quadruple points on your base points, and the current SPG promotions can easily add to that SPG Choose

Thanks for the info. We are going to be in Dallas anyway for a week-end, so might try it. It will be brand new, (opening 10/16) so it might be fun. Different.

If you are a member of Starwood's loyalty program, they are offering quadruple points for aloft stays, IIRC.

Cheers
