All 30 MLB stadiums, ranked: 2022 edition

I appreciate the history and nostalgia for Fenway Park, but it certainly doesn't belong at #7. If you enjoy baseball, you won't enjoy the green wall, the odd shape of the field, or the ridiculous amount of foul territory behind the plate. If you want history and nostalgia, go to Wrigley Field.

My least favorite was Twins' Metrodome and my current favorite is Target Field, but I am prejudice.

I was happy to see Pittsburgh's stadium ranked at #3 (and also got a chuckle at the description).

I found the article and the few reasons given for the ranking to be inconsistent and confusing. It's such a subjective thing anyway, but I have no clue what the actual criteria were in this particular ranking, beyond the author's personal preferences. It seems that offering Philly cheesesteaks or having a Mariachi band were somehow key factors! I like both, but they would be way down the list in my required criteria. Bizarre!

The problem with this is that they never told us the criteria, which IMO is the most important part. Just to share my experiences for two of the top three.......I don't think that San Diego holds a candle to Pittsburgh. I go see the Nationals a few times a year and their park is pretty cool, but a little bit sterile, but better than some that are ahead of it. Baltimore is still my favorite of all of the parks, I've visited due to the all around setting in the Inner Harbor plus how they made a new stadium feel old. My son works for the Oakland A's and I can guarantee that it is not only the worst baseball park of all, and nothing is even close to being that bad. It is the same type of stadium that was bulldozed years ago in all the cities that built "new" stadiums in the 60s and 70s.

The best is clearly Dodger Stadium!

Love the Pittsburgh ball park. I think progressive field is ranked a bit low though and should be higher. Me and a buddy saw 3 games in two days at these ball parks. Drove the 4 hours to Cleveland to see a night game. Stayed overnight and saw an afternoon game, then drove to Pitt for a night game. We then drove the 4hrs back home.

That's true Baseball Love!

Even in that stadium era is was bad. It was further degraded by the changes made for the Raiders. And since then it has only gotten worse due to inadequate maintenance and repair.

Absolutely love ... Oracle Park - San Francisco Giants

MN Twins Target field is great. Small footprint but not a bad seat in the house. Of course after experiencing the Metrodome, which was a huge dump, anything is better. The only thing I will say is the crime around the field has gotten terrible, after the game I wouldn't linger long, just get out.

I always park in ramp A and take the skyway to the stadium. It's the shortest path to the car. I also prefer day games. Go Twins! :whooopie:
