“Alaska Airlines announced plans to cut two routes between California and the Island of Hawaii's Kona International Airport.

Currently, the Seattle-based airline operates four weekly trips from San Francisco to Kona and back, and three times a week between Sacramento and Kona. Both of the routes will end on March 19....”

I was on one of those flights a few years ago. There were maybe 20 people on the plane. It was very odd. May be why they decided to end them.

I got worried for a moment. We usually go to Maui but the BI is next year's destination (family wedding). I just double checked and we're doing Hawaiian this time. Phew!
