Air Canada to go on Strike.

So much depends one's definition of "fair". Doesn't it?
Fair is what both sides agree to without intervention. Nothing is fair because of the latter. The union should be paying air Canada for the losses and especially affected passengers. That is pretty close to fair.

Very selfish reaction on my part, but I hope this tentative agreement gets ratified (or whatever) and Air Canada is back to full service soon.

My bff and I planned this trip a long time ago and have already had more changes and bumps than I've ever experienced. I changed my flight to Montreal at least twice to get an itinerary that made sense. Then we changed all of our original flights to avoid going through Newark due to all of the issues they were having. Okay, got that settled. Then I find out that on the day we leave from Quebec City there is a big bicycle race that will shut down a lot of streets in the area where we're staying. I guess we'll deal with that when we get there and find out from the hotel what we need to do. Now the Air Canada strike.

To complicate things my bff and I are flying from different cities so the coordination has been challenging. She finally decided she would feel more comfortable if we could do most of the flight together so we are meeting in Albuquerque and and will start from there. On the way home we'll both fly from Quebec City to Toronto, then she can take a nonstop to Orlando and I'll head home, going through Denver. My whine is over.
