I was checking out AFVC car rental for Maui and a full sized car for 2 weeks is as low as $23 a day taxes and fees included. You would need to have a Military affiliation to join AFVC.

NÜ Car Rentals - Fullsize

Wow. That is incredibly cheap for Hawaii. Never heard of NÜ Car Rentals, but for that kind of pricing I'd be tempted to try them out.

I haven't heard of them either. A full sized car at $23 a day in Maui is very low. I wonder if there is a catch like you have to buy their insurance. Nothing on the AFVC rental page suggested there is but who knows. So a phone call to NU is going to happen.

NU doesn't review well at Reddit. AFVC also has other vendors. Budget is in the filter with $33 a day for an economy 5 seat 5 door car. Probably not much better than the others. I didn't like Budget because of the wait on our last trip.
