Can anyone give any advice for "how" to rent out an HGVC week?

Given that you are NOT guaranteed a week, how should you list it?

If you list it as "floating" and someone wants it, (assuming you've posted on the various rental websites), do they like contact you and you try to see if you can get them the week they desire?

Or do you actually "book" it (but that would use your points and commit you for that specific week) and try to rent the specific week?

If it's the latter, then what is a *good* week(s) to rent out for either Orlando, Vegas, or Hawaii?

Reserve the best week you can at HHV and you should have no problem renting and showing a pretty nice profit :whoopie: . fwiw, Greg

My guess would be that Christmas week would be a good choice, or possibly spring break.

On advice from this board I've rented my HHV TS for the past two years. I just pick a time (2 wks) in July and it goes in a nanosecond. List it thru TUG, Redweek, and MyResortNetwork...... May try some other sites this year. Never used ebay. I use 1st Am. Title for the escrow agent.
We live part time in a resort area condo (KoOlina- Oahu) and 2bdrm private condos (same sq. ft. as TS) rent for about half of what I get for my Hilton TS. Some one said TS are not a good investment. My rent (income) is more than double my MF's. Plus, I'm reasonable certain at this time I could sell my points for what I paid for them. And I bought from the developer! That was before I became a TUGhead.
