Newbie to the forum and new to timeshares (thanks for all the great info I've found so far - HUGE help). After having visiting Marriott's Aruba Ocean Club last year (rented a 2 BR/2 BA unit), we were in the process of renting again this year when I stumbled on a until that I would like to purchase through an owner resale.
I fear I may have missed something along the line (I'm certain its on here somewhere but I haven't been able to track it down yet),but have made an offer to the owner which was accepted and now I'm finding mixed information on how to proceed. My questions are:

- What is the next step?
- Do we have to work through the resort directly to complete the transaction?
- Do I enlist a title company for the transaction (it looks like MAOC is an RTU so it doesn't appear to be a deeded property but I haven't yet seen any paperwork to be sure)?
- Since its an Aruban property, not sure if there are any unique processes that I need to be aware of.
