FYI: If you are inside 15 days MVCI can not lock-off your week via a simple computer click. They have to get a Supervisor and do a manual override. Not sure why this is but it is what it is.

I do it all the time and I try to do it prior to the 15 day time frame to save time. It's my week and I have the right to lock it off whenever I feel like it. You have the same right.

If your week is enrolled then the lock off feature is free, if it's not enrolled then I believe it is a $80 fee.

.
I'm not sure I agree that being able to lock off later is a right. They could limit the number of rooms to be locked administratively off and simply decide not to offer that option. Reasons they might do so would be parking and resort density since a studio plus a 1BR on average have a higher # of guests and more vehicles. I don't know if MVC has ever done this but I know for sure that at least one system has done this exact thing in the past.

I'm in a similar boat. Hyatt set me up with a membership, but when I try to do anything with Marriott, it says I need a different one. If I try to setup a membership, it says I have one. So confused.
