I know this has been discussed in the past, but I don't seem to be having the same experience as previous posters. I have read that a renter's name can be added to an existing reservation online. I would like to add a renter's name to my reservation. The only place I can find to edit a reservation is on the Marriott website (not MVCI); however I don't see a way to add a name, only replace my name. Am I missing something?

Like TXTortoise, I use the Marriott Bonvoy website, find the reservation, select it, and enter the renter's name as the guest on the reservation. I save it, and I automatically receive an email from Marriott with the updated reservation showing the guest name rather than mine. I choose to foward the email to the renter, but before selecting "send message", I edit the document and delete my Bonvoy number and any other information I don't want the renter to see.

Yes, I see that I can do that. What I would like to do, though, is add the renter as a guest but leave my name on the reservation as well. I have done this by calling, but don't see how to do it online.

This is what I do.

I use the Marriott site and add them as the Guest name, but leave my other info on there.

I don't think what you're trying to do is possible on marriott.com. The Guest Information section on marriott.com is for the primary guest checking in. There's no section you can edit to keep the reservation in the owner's name then adding the renter's name as guest.
