I just purchased another contract in a private sale. My first two contracts have only my name, but now I would like to add my husband and adult son to the portfolio with this purchase. If I add two names as "owners" would we have a new membership or would these two people be added to my existing portfolio?

Your husband and son would be added to your current membership and have access to the entire account. Works nicely (always keep in mind things can change at any time, but that is how it works today). Let the person handling the transfer know you want the contract added to your current membership (and give them your membership number). Once Wyndham has the paperwork, call and confirm with Wyndham title services they have the information. And if Wyndham still doesn't add it to your current membership, you can call and ask them to do so after the fact.

To be clear: Your name as well as your husband and sons need to be on the new contract. your name is what links it all together.
