Anyone have recommendations for activity discounters on any of Maui, Big Island or Oahu? We're doing a 3 week trip this year and while we normally just rent a car and drive to nice snorkel and beach spots, we're feeling a bit adventurous this year and want to do some off island things (snorkel trips...etc.)

Wondering if going with the discounters is the best value...and who is reputable?

Aside from the "activity centers" on the streets (usually called "attend a timeshare presentation"), where you can get discounts, I would normally let the front desk and/or concierge recommend the various activities and see if they can get you discounts.

Another place (get the "hardcopy" issues at the baggage claim area at the airport) would be --- www.101thingstodo.com ---. they list many activities for each island, and do show some discounts.

There are some Hawaii coupons on ebay for lots of stuff. Mostly 2 for 1 deals. I've seen packages of different things or you can just pick and choose what you want to do. :)

First I figure out exactly what activities we want to do, and then I shop on the internet for the best price.

Then I call the activity itself to see if they discounter is in good standing with them, and if the activity will match the price. If they will, I purchase directly from the activity office.

If you travel with a laptop or have computer access where you are staying, don't forget to check the website of the activity provider you are considering & to do a google search on them as well.

Sometimes you can find the same or similar discounts from them directly.

Hey everyone, thanks for all the suggestions! Much appreciated.
