How do I find out how much it will cost to use the AC? I've just recently received one from II, there aren't many resorts in FL I can use it, only Orlando and another resort close to home. I went onto Exchange, using the AC to find out availability but was afraid to click the continue button in case I was committed to something. Does the cost depend on the resort you choose and do you have a chance to go back if you don't want a particular one?

The cost is $199 for a studio, $249 for a one bedroom and $299 for a two bedroom, plus some sort of taxes, about $35, I think, on a two bedroom.

You can click through to continue, you'd have to enter your credit card in to actually pay, and the price will come up before that.

Plus, you actually have 24 hours to cancel. Note that is not to the end of the next business day, but exactly 24 hours from when you book it.

The cost is not tied to the resort, strictly unit size.

We use our Interval AC every year and this year a very nice person gave me one as well. They're a great way to travel cheap.

another AC question

I have another AC question. I just received my first one, and I'm not certain how the available locations work. I see the "grid" where it allows you to check mark certain months. Do these month options ever change, or are those solid based on your certificate (or even for all who have AC's)?

Also, if I'm understanding correctly, I can put in a request if something's available for immediate trade. How do I know which resorts are ok to put in a request for?

Sorry if this is repeat, I didn't find anything on this...

Jennifer

And Flexchange is 60 days ahead. So, with a few exceptions, you can get anything that's available for exchange within 60 days. Outside of that date range, you must follow the grid.

You can only put in an ongoing request for resorts in the areas and months on your AC grid. You used to be able to do this online, but now you have to call II to set it up.

AC Expiring....Can you Extend?

Thought I might hijack this thread for another AC question. I have one expiring at the end of next month. Is there any option available in extending the expiration and if so what is the cost?

I was hoping to nab a Disney unit in January like I've done several times in the past but just haven't seen any in the past few months.

AC can not be extended. When it expires, it has expired.

Deposited weeks can be extended beyond their expiration. For a sliding scale fee, the longer you want them extended the greater the fee.
