Has anyone heard of this juice or capsule. Dr Oz was recommmending it. Has anyone tried it and what are the results?

I've noticed that every time he appears on Oprah he is pushing a new book he has either authored or coauthored. It would be my guess that if he was pushing it, he can make money from it. It may or may not help you, but it probably won't hurt you.

I just read about this in Prevention magazine that my friend had at work. I wonder if the article was from Dr Oz.

I took the Movavie for 5 weeks to see if the arthritis in my hands improved. No such luck. I do like the taste of it better than some of the other products tho. It is very expensive but I was willing to continue it...if I had had some improvement. It just didn't happen for me and my osteoarthritis!

VERY aggressive marketing. They will send you a free trial (but it's probably not free if you read the fine print). The ad I saw said free trial ONLY if you canceled and notified them before they shipped and billed the next shipment; otherwise they would charge you $40 for each shipment. Additionally, they are not thirty day supplies since the recommended dosage for the one I saw was 1-2 before each meal and the trial only contained about 10 pills. Of course the trial offer is to see for yourself if it works but their own advertising says it may take a couple of weeks. Beware!

My husband took Monavie over an approx. 2 year period for his arthritis and was able to give up his regular pain medication, a couple of makeshave now been removed from the market. He found it excellent. However, he was presribed Lipitor to lower his cholesterl and the doctor warned it could cause renewed aches and pains. It did and most unfortunately he needed to return to something stronger, Celebrex.

Here in San Diego it is served as a treat like a treat almost like frozen yogurt. The berries are mashed into a pulp, blended, mixed with a touch of apple juice for sweetness. Place in a bowl, cover with strawberries, rasberries, blueberries and peaches. Sprinkle with a bit of granola and drizzle with a bit of honey.

I buy the pulp at our local natural food market - frozen.

I crave one right now...

Yes, and I have sold it myself - I agree with the multilevel marketing, however, MonaVie is very good. It is true that it is expensive, and right now, I just have supply on hand for myself. It is wonderful, gives me increased energy level, etc. I only drink a small amount a day, I would like to have more each day. I have been investigating other Acai products at the Health store, but haven't found anything as tasty and convenient for me.

From what I understand, the potency only lasts 24 hours from when it is picked from the tree. I'm not sure what happens to the potency once it is freeze dried?? Can't be good. A friend a work gave me a couple of samples to try for energy....didn't notice any difference, but then again, it was only a couple of samples.

Whenever I hear "Dr. Oz recommended....." I immediately tune out.

If one were to buy every item he endorsed, you'd go broke.

please, google it and enjoy the reading.

there is a four letter word which describes the Monavie marketing program, but out of respect for some hard-working but naive, gullible people who received their IQ's the honest way, i won't tell you the word, but I'll give you a hint----it starts with "sc" and ends in "am".

I have a friend who sells this stuff and she has stickers all over her vehicle. None on her face yet, but waiting.......I just laugh at some of the things she claims it cures. Very funny stuff. Should have wiped out all disease on the planet by now, but haven't read as much yet...maybe soon? :D

You can probably buy acai juices and blends in your local supermarket. I like the pomegranate mix they sell here at Publix.
