Abbrev..

Thanks Denise
Iam being bad, & asking for a 1 Bdrm. instead of a studio at no specific T/S
in Arizona
What comes up is "SPB Resort does not allow minimum acceptable max/priv or bedroom upgrade."
My dilemma is the SPB.

There are far too many abbreviations in use on this board. It makes it harder, less friendly, and less useful as a searchable information repository for all, especially newbies.

I would suggest that the first posting in a thread to use a less than totally obvious abbreviation name it fully. i.e. Bluebeard's Beach Club (BBC) and then reference BBC for the remainder of that thread.

I've been in this timeshare game for many years and often see arcane resorts identified by abbreviation only, some undecipherable to me unless I search II/RCI by resort codes to figure it out.

Just MHO (My Humble Opinion)

Why not give us full information? You are searching where? RCI? II? DAE? Platinum? The more details the better. :)

Sounds like that info was included in the returned information about a specific resort. And maybe the SPB was a typo that should have been SPR - Star Pass Resort or Sedona Pines Resort perhaps?

I get the same message if I try to enter a search request in RCI for a 2 bedroom when I am only searching with a 1 bedroom. I am searching with
my South Africa timeshares. I have read on these boards previously that
certain timeshares are not allowed to search for larger sizes. I never
bothered trying to figure out what the SPB meant since I knew what the
message was saying. So... I just say I want a 1 bedroom. If 2 bedrooms
come up in the results, you can still book them. But you would not be
able to put in an ongoing search for 2 bedrooms.

SPB RESORT DOES NOT ALLOW MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE MAX/PRIV OR BEDROOM UPGRADE
