I've not done priceline.com bidding for a few years and need to sharpen my skills for a coming short trip.

Is biddingfortravel.com still the one to visit for tips and price reference? I saw there is another site called betterbidding.com

Any recommendation on the best and the latest site for this purpose?

I need to get a hotel in San Francisco for 4 nights during Christmas 12/24-28. The caveat is that I have to bring my car with me due to some needs so a good hotel location with reasonable parking fee is important.

Thanks a lot!

Good luck!

About the bidding sites. I don't know which one is best. I'd check them both and see which one has the most current information for what you're looking for.

With Priceline, it will be nearly impossible to guarantee getting a hotel with low parking rates, because you are bidding on a group of hotels of a certain quality in the same general area. There is no way to know which one you will get.

What I was kind of commenting on is that in San Francisco pretty much all of the nice hotels in nice areas are all going to have parking rates that are pretty high. So, unless you find an off-site lot that is close to the hotel, you'll be stuck paying those high rates.
