A fire in a timeshare at Christmas Mountain Dec 20

I have a home there and one for my daughter’s family. It was on the police scanner. My grandson heard last night and didn’t bother to mention it. We are in Florida for Christmas break. So I don’t have any details
I pray that this fire was not started in the unit fireplace or by a cigarette flipped in the woods. Or leaving Christmas lights on over night on a green Christmas tree.
I have one question and some observation about fireplaces in some timeshare resorts. Why are they in a timeshare resort surrounded by trees and dead leaves ?
Yes! They look good. But they are dangerous. How many city folks really know how to maintain a burning a fireplace overnight . Do they know the proper kind of dry wood to use and how to start a fire and how to properly extinguish a fireplace . Do they know how to open the tamper on a fireplace to let the smoke out the unit.
Do they know where their fire extinguishers are located in their timeshare unit? Do they know how to use it.
Do not know the nearest fire station are usually a volunteer fire department and are mile’s away.
Now I understand why all the old fireplace in the Manor Club were removed and replaced with electric fireplace.

No, I can’t find any information
Some of the timeshare have wood burning fireplaces. It was check-in night for the villas
I will post when I find more
