A few II Search Questions

1) I thought you could search before deposit in the My Units Exchange section. When I search it says, "No deposits available." I have 2 deeds in upcoming E-Plus reservations but have not yet deposited 2027. Am I too early to search? If so what is the cutoff? or am I doing something wrong because I cannot see inventory.

2) How long is Marriott preference before Vistana gets access? Also how long is the delay before it shows up on E-Plus exchange searches? I see a Marriott week that I am interested in the sightings thread but when I go in to E-Plus it my Vistana doesn't pull them.

Not sure if you are using the App or Website, I use the website mostly so this is my experience.

1) If you want to search retrades against your e-plus, you go to history, then exchange then select the e-plus retrade option.

2) Not really sure about the MVC preference before Vistana see them, it could be around 20 days, but it is also possible that some inventory is booked early in preference, then is later cancelled so goes back in and serves more time in MVC preference before moving to Vistana preference, so that pops up more quickly.

I can search against a 2027 MVC weeks placeholder when putting in a mid March 2027 check-in, another out to mid June 2027, but another tells me its not valid no matter what date I put in.

For #2, my experience was really only searching Vistana deposits with a Marriott week. I recall it was about 10-11 days where only Vistana owners could see the deposits then after that my Marriott week could see the Vistana deposits. I think this can be highly variable depending on the what was deposited.

To clarify my question on #1: I have a 2027 SDO week I want to search before deposit. When I try to search it does not recognize this week (I have 2 other deposits reserved via e-Plus and am not seeking to re-book those)

Is there a reason I cannot search for listings with my 2027 SDO week which has not been deposited yet? Is there a 2 year rule?

Another question: I am searching E-Plus trading. In an exchange search it shows the following "E-Plus Retrade 2 of 3" See below. Does this mean I only have 1 more retrade? or this search (if executed) is the second and I have one more after that? What happens after the third retrade if you cannot travel?

So far with this week I made my first trade and bought E-Plus.
Then exchanged it into another week.
Then exchanged it into a second week.
I am now searching for a new week...

The week I am considering timing not perfect and would work only under certain circumstances in my work schedule so wondering if I am stuck with it if a better week comes available.

That means you are using your second of three for the trade you are currently searching for. If you look at the History page, it details it a little better and shows how many are remaining. This is what my History screen shows and when I click to do a retrade, it shows as E-Plus retrade 3 of 3 where yours above shows 2 of 3.. Your History screen should indicate 2 of 3 Retrades Remain.

1. You can do a full fee retrade. You can then also add EPlus to that full fee retrade.
2. You can cancel and take a cancellation replacement deposit. Good for one year from the date you cancel. Be sure to cancel outside the Flexchange period. You can add EPlus to an exchange you make with the cancellation replacement.

I am curious. It is possible to push using E-plus beyond the original expiration date of your deposit? Can an E-Plus (3) then Retrade then EPlus (3) go on for several years (of course with fees it might cost more than the MFs!)

If you cancel an exchange then you can go on indefinitely as once you cancel your original deposit expiration is no longer important. The cancellation replacement week gets a new expiration date.

However, if you simply full fee retrade to something then add EPlus again, at some point you will end up in a situation where you have used 3 retrades and are also past original deposit expiration. You won't be able to do a full fee retrade.

One year from the first exchange. Once set, the expiration doesn't change.

ou’re not doing anything wrong — II simply won’t let you see real inventory until you have an actual deposit in the system. Having future E-Plus reservations doesn’t count as a “live” deposit, so the system shows “No deposits available.” You’ll need to deposit your 2027 week before you can run meaningful searches.
As for Marriott preference, it’s usually 24–48 hours before non-Marriott owners can see the week. Sometimes it’s quicker, sometimes slower — and E-Plus searches can lag even a bit more. So it’s normal that something seen in the Sightings thread won’t show up for you yet.
