A change in my ongoing search - how can that be?

I have an ongoing search in place for one specific resort. Between 10 am yesterday and 5 am today, that search was broadened to include "Western Canada, Northern ID & MT" and I had done nothing to modify the search. Although I modify the search everyday to look for other resorts, I always return the search to the original terms and NEVER us the search criterion above.

This is quite disturbing because if I hadn't checked on my ongoing search today, I may have been confirmed into a resort that I didn't want!!!

So how can my ongoing search just mysteriously be modified?

We have Specialists who review active searches, checking for errors and identifying members we have been unable to contact. If the Specialist sees an exact match to a specific resort/date choice listed on a search, he or she may confirm it. However, we will cancel these confirmations without penalty upon request and resume searching with the original entry date.

These same specialists may also add a region to a search that lists only resort choices in an effort to increase your odds of a match. However, units that match solely from that region entry would not confirm automatically. We would contact you to offer it and remove the region if you asked.

Sorry for the alarm this caused you.
