A Canadian wondering about tax implications of renting my weeks out (Villa Group)

Hi, I'm new around here. I've searched a few forums and keep being told that Search is omitting the word "tax" from my search because it is too common. WTAF?
I'm a Level 4 Elite owner in the Villa Group. I have three weeks booked in January 2027 in Puerto Vallarta Del Palmar I'm considering posting for rent either here or on Redweek. As a Canadian 🇨🇦, do I have to claim the income from a timeshare that is located in Mexico and administered (by Resortcom) in Las Vegas, NV? Hubby and I sold a few timeshares before he passed, and I don't know whether he claimed that as income. Also, after he passed, I received the withholding tax from one of those sales (taxes withheld and eventually repaid to me by an American company) but never declared it as income. Should I be on the lookout for RevCan stalking me?

Any help or pointers are welcome—especially if you can point to previous answers posted on this site that I wasn't able to find. Also apologies if this type of question has been asked and answered repeatedly. I did try to find previous posts...😇
