Title pretty much says it all. We put our unused points in RCI at the end of 2019. Yesterday we booked a week leaving 9000 points. Are they any use? What do I do with them?

thanks all

If you're able to travel on short notice, check out the RCI offerings for 7-night reservations for 10,000 points & below.

Last time I looked (i.e., earlier today), there were several Orlando & Las Vegas offerings at 7,500 points & 1 in Las Vegas for 4,900 points.

Can you transfer them to someone else? Maybe someone is 9K short for a week. eBay? Is that allowed?

Unfortunately, the low-point vacations are regular RCI Points, not Wyndham points deposited into RCI.

As to what you can actually do with that 9,000 points, you can add to them by depositing more Wyndham points if you find something you want to book in RCI. You still have the better part of two years to find something. You could transfer them to another Wyndham owner in RCI, though it's a pretty small amount for that type of transfer. Or you could let them expire at the end of two years. I would not spend the money to extend them at that point as they're not worth as much as the extension fee.

Yes they can be transferred to another Wyndham RCI points account at no cost. To transfer you have to call in and hope the right person answers the phone. You can also gift them online but like others said 9000 points is not enough to travel especially if you need to book a full week.
