It was actually our two kids and they each had a friend. So....
The instructor gave us the choice of continuing or coming back another day but it was clearly his choice to do it another day. He said if it was just him he would probably keep surfing but baby tiger sharks concern him more than full grown adults. About half the people stayed and half left.
After typing my initial post I looked more closely and the shark was spotted, by two different groups, just in front of the hotel next to Marriott around the boats that are there.
Obviously there are sharks all around these waters but, at this point, the pools seem plenty nice!
