3yr Kiplingers Personal Finance $4.91

I have used netmagazines.com before with good results, although it does take twelve weeks. How twentieth-century! Anyway, my "due date" is August 25. Since my subscription expires in December, I'm getting solicitations from the publisher too.

I wouldn't be worried, except for the "if it's too good to be true" adage. But $4.91 was not a big risk, and will be a tremendous deal if it proves legit.

I wonder whose job it is to match the renewal to the existing subscription, since they don't ask for any info from the label. Is it just from the address, do you suppose?

Got it today...

I received my Kiplinger's magazine today and I ordered when this promo first started. I hope everyone receives their mag. shortly. It's a great bargain.

I renewed vis this link so I already get the magazine I have noticed the date of exp for me is sometime in 2008 this does not add up to 3yrs I will give it another month as I already got this month's issue. We shall see.

I ordered April 1, through Netmagazines and as of today (August 16) I still have not received one.

I just got my first issue and the account goes to 2009, so thanks for the tip on the offer.

I have been reading these comments. My subscription has also not yet been extended. I am hoping it shows up next month. I hope I did not lead all of you down the garden path.

Dottie, Don't feel bad. At the worst we are out $5.00. I think we all waste more than that at the grocery store each week:whoopie:

Got our first issue today, so it's for real! Thanks, Dottie!

$44.91 for 3 years to Canada. :(

My first issue came this week, the code worked for me. There is an article about timeshares in that issue (September, 2006) that mentions buying resale. It has a reference to TUG including the web site address. TUG sent people to the magazine so I guess they included a plug for TUG. :)

Got my first issue yesterday. Subscription says through august 09. I also checked for my daughter who I submitted a subscription for. They had her address and contact info, so I am hopeful that this is for real and she will also get hers.
But it sure took a long time and I was a little worried when I read the previous posts.

I ordered my 3 yr renewal on 6/8 and their web site says to wait till 9/1. I emailed the company and requested an update on my order. I'll let you know if I get a response.

I checked the subscription expiration date on the address label of our most recent issue, and our renewal went through. :)

Mine went through as well. Got mine yesterday, I am good till 2011:D
Thanks Dottie

Glad some of you have had success getting Kiplingers. I just got my notice of 3 year exstension yesterday in the mail batch we received. We had been away enjoying timeshare exchanges to Otter Rock, Pacific Rim and Pacific Shores Nature Resort. Awesome!!!

Was going through some credit card statements and other papers a few days ago. I subscribed to Kiplinger's through netMagazines on March 16th(maybe April). My credit card was charged on June 6th. Received my first issue on September 26th. Expiration 9/09. Slow but cheap!

Although they said they didn't have a record for me, I noticed that my expiration date was also extended for 3 years. Glad this worked out well for everyone.
