I remember that SVO owners were able to rent out villas within the network for a 35% discount. Is this still the case? Is there a code and what is it?

Thanks

I believe this is true, but I can't seem to find a reference to it on mystarcentral.com or starwoodvo.com .

Alohaaaaaaa.....I'm back! :D

We just rented additional nights before and after our timeshare weeks and owners still get the 35% discount. You can't get the owner's discount online - you have to call SPG. BE SURE they send you a confirmation - they lost my first Resv.

An island view studio was $376.60 a night w/tax after the discount. The first night (pre-time share stay) we were upgraded to ocean view, but it was about the worst ocean view in the resort - unit 3101 which is the first unit on the bottom floor in Bldg. 3 (or B) facing the park (right behind the big Bldg. AC unit).

The last night we were upgraded to ocean front - unit 3130, which is the center studio unit on the bottom floor of Bldg. 3 (or B). Since we paid for Island View, I wasn't complaining about the first room and we were quite pleased to be upgraded to OF the last night, although our 6 floor units (the timeshare weeks) actually had a better view because of the height. We were in 3616 and 3618.

Thanks for the info, I couldn't find it online either.

Hope you had a great vacation
