Plantation Beach Club at IRP 2 BR Gold Flex Week (could be 8000 pts depending upon week reserved but I bought week to use)

That's an increase of $233.85 (15.2%)!!!!!
 
We've now seen Miami (12.23%) and a Gulf (15.2%) with significant % increases. Seaworld/Orlando around 8.82% for a 2 bdrm so far.

Perhaps this is due to new 2024 Florida Legislation to fully fund reserves caused by the condo collapse tragedy, and recent hurricanes with higher insurance premiums. MVC owners in Florida are also seeing increases and there is a thread about it.

I don’t think 8.2% is out of the norm right now. My Boulevard is only 1.3% lower (6.9%) than Sea World. The 2 affiliates reported so far are huge increases to already high MF’s. The MVC increases are even higher and that affects the trust point deed as well, correct?

Perhaps it only affects coastal for HGVC. This thread was not about trust but about deed MF at Grande Vista in Orlando increasing by $1000.

In SoBe my Reserve Fee only went up 6.4%. It was the Operating Fee that went up 16%. I suspect some of this is attributable to increased insurance premiums. Waiting to hear from someone on the Board why the increase was so substantial.

These numbers are correct, but I think you meant for the 2024 year, not 2023.

May be also due to many major insurance carriers pulling out of FL and other East Coast states due to hurricane / weather. Insurance costs have skyrocketed for Homeowners / Condominium insurance.
