I just noticed that the Platinum Collection now include HVC at Desert Oasis (Cathedral City), which is close to the Westin Mission Hills. Also see a Santa Fe location as well.

I assume these are former Welk properties?

Can HVC deeded owners book these properties directly through HVC or do we have to deposit our points in II?

Isn't Platinum Program just the old Welk program? It isn't the Portfolio Program. In other words, the Platinum Program has always included Desert Oasis. It isn't anything new. To book them, it still requires exchanging through II.

Yes, Cathedral City is the former Welk property and I believe only those who owned under Welk can book them directly. (We were Welk owners and can book those directly.)
