What are consequences of the default? I talked to tafer representative from villa del palmar and the only way to get out is to pay off the balance, need to stay for 1 year and find someone to transfer it. Also, i stop paying it will go to collection as they noted they company here in las vegas and would handle the collection. I asked them if they pull my credit at the time of registration, they said no and the loan is mexican based.

2) Your "ownership" is in a foreign country
3) Your loan is Mexican based.

The Tafer representative is ALWAYS going to say you have to pay.

Collections can be attempted on anything based on intimadation & misrepresentation

- however the details of your transaction / loan - may mean that you can avoid a credit score hit (or not.) - if you choose to stop payment & contact.

That is true. Resortcom does the collections for Taffer. They are limited to phone communicating and trying to offer you a Golden Parachute deal by making the MF less by taking points off the membership. If a person goes this route they will own a lesser membership that now originates in the USA, that Resortcom can take to American Courts.

If you let it go it's a real headache for them to go to court for a judgement.
