[ 2020 ] There are toilets that are just okay, and there are awesome toilets!

Costco sales tend to return annually so it might be worth waiting.

There is a rain showerhead we like that has gone on sale twice for $119 regularly $149. It's an inexpensive addition that adds a luxury touch to a bathroom. What is nice is that you dont need to rip up your tile so it is a relatively easy install using existing plumbing.

Ewww! That would be one nasty return! :ROFLMAO:

Kurt
I just like knowing they guarantee what they sell. I rarely return anything to Costco. Although, we will have flooring left from our townhouse remodel and will return the rest of it in about a week. We overbought and for good reason. Running out and having Costco out of stock could be a bad thing. Pretty stuff and it was cheap.

Not a bad idea to have extra. If you'd ordered 'enough' and run out, there's a good chance that the next order they get would be a different dye lot (color). Still, save a few planks in case you have to have damage repaired.

We are selling the townhouse and hope to have it on the market by the 23rd of July. We will leave a box of planks for the buyer to replace a few as necessary. They are the luxury vinyl planks by Arrowana. Very nice flooring.

One toilet point..... I would only buy a one piece toilet - never a 2 piece. That brings the price of the drake up to around $450. Online I see the Toto Drake 2-piece for around $250.

We always buy the American Standard Champion 4. One piece, elongated with comfort height. About the same price as the Toto Drake.

However, the best flush ever. There is a video of a who bag of plastic soliders that flush down easy. I have found the kohler flush to be substandard.

The Toto with the hurricane flush is very cool.

So I didn't end up with the Toto Washlet. I took them back unopened and ordered the Bio Bidet one with the dryer. It's okay but not the same experience as the Toto. The Bio Bidet was also Costco, $100 off, so only $199. Rick installed it quickly. I have enjoyed having that thing.

Next one will be a Toto Washlet with the dryer.

So back to my bidet story. I like the Bio Bidet seat for the features, but you could sit on that toilet with the dry cycle for 10 minutes and never get dry, even on the warmest setting. I need a better dryer, or I could do without it, if that is how all dryers do.

Plus, I decided I would like to have endless warm water for our next bidet seat. The one we bought from Costco is on sale again, and I told Rick that I would not want another one of those for our downstairs toilet. I have another toilet upstairs, too. I am considering the purchase of 2 more bidets.

I see the Washlet 550e but it is a lot of money, $949 on Amazon for that one. Is it really worth the cost of a dishwasher? It's a luxury for sure, and at that price, it's an expensive luxury. At least I have a husband who can install the outlet and the bidet. I don't have to pay anyone.

So today on Amazon Treasure Truck is Bio Bidet Bliss BB 2000 for $399. The cheapest price I have found is $549.

Unlimited warm water, better dryer, and I think it has premist as well (don't know what that is about).

I have a Toto one piece toilet that is really quite beautiful (as far as toilets go), and I added a Bio Bidet seat to it a couple of years ago (has the wall-mounted controls, no air drying). The look of the seat takes away from the esthetic of the toilet, so next time I'm in the market for a toilet I will probably have a built in model. After spending some time in Japan and experiencing their toilet-tech this seat seems pretty simplistic (what, no music to greet me?). Still really great though.

I have only Toto toilets in my house because they flush so incredibly well. I know what you mean about the basic Bio Bidet seats. I have a $199 one from Costco (on sale right now once again at Costco). The one I have has the dryer, but it's a waste of electricity. I could sit there for 20 minutes and never get dry, so I still am using toilet paper.

This Bio Bidet Bliss 2200, I am crossing my fingers will be the absolute best toilet seat for the price. If not, I will have Rick install it in our other bathroom upstairs and start over on the main floor with a different model.

Someone told me Brondell Swash are really good.

I just loved the one I experienced at Kings'Land this past July. I was so happy with it, but I cannot find one just like it, and so I have no idea what model it was. I wish I could have found a model # somewhere. It was a Toto, and it was heavenly and attractive. Some Toto Bidet seats are $1,200!

I'm not surprised at the price of the toilet seat, it actually does quite a bit! My Toto toilet was 1k when I bought it, a splurge (even in Canadian dollars), but just really good-looking compared to what was out there at the time. I'm sure their bidet seats are a really nice design (lots of choices though, and who knows if the model they used at Kings'Land is still for sale?). Still, an email to Kings'Land could possibly give you the model number you need, no? You could say you're "asking for a friend"... :D

If you have just had shoulder surgery, like my sister-in-law had to have done a few days ago, this is a great convenience. Think about it. I think it's good for anyone who has a tough time with movement, due to arthritis and other types of pain. It would have been nice after my hip surgery as well. My next hip surgery, I will be set.

My sister broker both of her arms about six years ago. You don't even want to know what her husband had to do for her after that fall she took.

We ordered two washlets for our new place on Saturday at Pacific Sales. Got the call they were in yesterday, but no rush to pick them up because the electrician can't come for a few weeks. They make potty time so civilized!
