I just booked a week for a two bedroom at Son Antem for the middle of May, 2023. I'd appreciate it if you were to share any recommendations or information you have. Also do you have any suggestions as to which location to request.

For a first visit to Mallorca, unless you just want to chill out at the resort, you would miss so much of this wonderful island unless you hire a car.
As for location, it depends on your preferences.
If you want to be close to all the facilities, you might request the 600 road
If not, all townhouses are in groups of 8 with a close by villas pool.
The 2 Bed units have 2 designs, 2 Bed upstairs or 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs, which may be a factor to consider dependent on how many are in your family / group

We were there early May 2019 and loved Mallorca. We had three villas on the first road you come to from the entrance. Not close to the main resort center/pools but for us it was great for coming and going from the resort. We spent very little time on site. There is so much to see on the island, I second the rec to have a car hire. I would also recommend renting bikes if you are cyclists. We road out to the light house on Cap Formentar. The cycling is a beautiful way to see the different villages.
There is a large fair in Sineu in early May. If you are there on that Sunday, it is well worth it!
Visit the little cove beaches throughout the island. They are great for exploring and some include nice little hikes.
The food is amazing on the island and there are several Michelin Star establishments. We LOVED Adrian Quetglas in Palma. Very affordable for a starred restaurant and a wonderful experience. Offset the expense of Michelin star dining with a burger at La Nueva Burguesa. Those were two of our favorite meals but there are so many great little places.

We loved Mallorca and can't wait to get back.
